We’re often surrounded by big contradictory expectations in the work we do. Some of those expectations are even impossible. (ahem: never fail). In this 3-part virtual series, learn how to effectively navigate your own expectations and the expectations of others.
Here’s the plan:
Week 1– Oct 17: Define your scope
We can’t control everything and everyone. Which is hard when it feels like that’s a part of your job description. Let’s get clear on what’s a (realistic) scope no matter your role.
Week 2- Oct 31: How to effectively communicate our expectations – and understand others
When it comes to expectations, they aren’t neutral. Gain tools on how to effectively create understanding for yourself and others. How to have those conversations proactively and in moments of conflict.
Week 3- Nov 7: How to remain sane through it all
It’s a marathon, not a sprint. A process, not a destination. Putting these tools into action often means choosing some acute stress to battle chronic stress. Learn tools and strategies to be ok in the discomfort.
