Current role: IP Specialist at Soridge Consulting
Samantha has over 20 years of experience in the chemical and energy sectors and government as an intellectual property (IP) specialist. This experience includes being an IP technical advisor for a global petrochemical company, the IP strategist for a major Canadian oil producer and most recently, she was part of the City of Calgary’s IP and data licensing team. Samantha’s consulting practice assists enterprises that require more than an arms-length approach to their IP requirements. By getting to know the business, she is able to offer strategic direction as well as assist with the day-to-day tasks that are involved in developing a meaningful IP portfolio. She also brings an experience-based, strategic approach to third-party collaborations and technology transfer. Samantha has a passion for innovation and has been involved in many aspects of the innovation process.
