Richard Saad is the Marketing and Communications Lead at Innovate Calgary. He works with founders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and community partners to share the stories behind innovation in Calgary. He helps showcase the real-world impact of Innovate Calgary’s programs and the people building new technologies, businesses, and social ventures. He is particularly interested in making complex topics accessible and finding the human stories that connect innovation to everyday life.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies. Drawing on a background in reporting, storytelling, and visual media, he helps founders, researchers, and innovators share their work in ways that are engaging, accessible, and meaningful to a broad audience.
