Mr. Randall J. Lilko has 42 years experience in the Canadian defense industry (1983-2025) and is currently Chief Technical Office for his consulting company, Randing Research Corp.. He obtained two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Western Ontario, a B.A. (1979) and a B.Eng.Sci. Mechanical (1983) and has completed a number of specialist courses in specific analysis techniques and technologies used in the defense and space sectors Mr. Lilko’s 42 year career in industry has encompassed solid rocket motor design and development , weapons studies, and missile actuation system design and development and has worked with several major US, UK and European defence companies in areas of control actuation and flight control technologies. Mr. Lilko has provided technical support for research activities being conducted by Defense Research and Development Canada in areas such as high-speed weapon investigations, guided munition research and hypersonic systems, and has also participated in the NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO) working group activity in support of DRDC’s Canadian contribution. Currently, Randing Research is conducting studies in the area of high speed vehicle flight control concepts as well as supporting C-UAS technology development. Mr. Lilko is also a co-founder of Launch Canada which conducts a yearly student rocket launch competition in Ontario.
