I am a startup and innovation advisor with 15+ years of experience helping founders, researchers, and institutions turn technical ideas into investable, scalable ventures. My work sits at the intersection of technology, capital strategy, and ecosystem building, with a strong focus on carbon capture, cleantech and advanced materials and energy systems technologies.
I helped build and operate the $4.2M Energy Transition Centre, creating a platform that connected startups, researchers, industry, and government partners to accelerate technology deployment. I have stewarded over $7M in startup fellowship programs, supporting more than 20 early-stage companies with funding, mentorship, and commercialization strategy.
I have led industry–academic partnerships securing $6M+ in grants and sponsorships across multiple years, enabling applied research and pilot-scale projects with clear commercial outcomes. I regularly mentor Master’s and PhD founders, advising on market fit, IP strategy, capital readiness, and go-to-market planning.
