As the Senior Director – Innovation Hubs, Nima oversees the innovation hubs at Innovate Calgary and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction. He was a guiding mind in the creation of the Life Sciences Innovation Hub (Innovate Calgary’s first incubator/accelerator) and now applies that knowledge to drive the success of the other hubs. Nima brings over a decade of experience supporting startups and combines a unique understanding of the scientific and technical aspects of innovations with commercialization strategy and intellectual property knowledge.

As a strong advocate of the Alberta startup ecosystem, Nima has been involved in numerous committees, including the Calgary Innovation Coalition, Health Cities, and various adjudication panels.
