Dr. Milica Vukmirovic has 10+ years of experience in early-stage technology and venture development, focused on building go-to-market strategies, business development, IP, licensing and fundraising, across diverse roles in university initiatives, accelerators and investment funds in US, Europe and Canada. She specializes in complex integration of market, customer, competitors, IP and organizational strategies for drug and medical device development from pre-clinical to early clinical stages. Key to successful venture development is identifying unique value proposition of innovative technology to address unmet need in time and place favourable for technology development and fundraising. Dr. Vukmirovic spearheaded the National adMare BioInnovation Therapeutics (Tx) Accelerator across BritishColumbia, Quebec, and Ontario, in collaboration with MaRS, fostering a federal stronghold in bio-innovation. She founded Move Venture Consulting firm in 2024 to support early-stage life science ventures in technology development and fundraising. She serves as Innovation, strategy & business development advisor for Novateur Ventures, an “Investigator” for Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) global, and executive in residence with UCSF Innovations Venture. She is supporting Women in Health Initiative (WiHi) at OBIO in Toronto.
