Matt has over 15 years of experience as a consultant in corporate and sustainability strategy, innovation, and organizational development with various clients across sectors and industries. He does this work through Arete Initiative. Matt also acts as a Principal for AioT Health which is an impact investing-driven venture capital fund investing in early-stage companies in companies that can positively impact >10% of humanity’s health.
Matt has extensive experience founding and facilitating multi-interest groups to work together on some of the most challenging questions of our time (e.g. energy transition in Alberta at the Energy Futures Lab, accelerating to a circular economy at the Circular Economy Innovation Lab, accelerating the adoption of regenerative agriculture in Alberta in the Regenerative Agriculture Lab, galvanizing climate leadership in the Climate Leadership Lab and more).
Matt is a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University’s business schools and has been teaching courses on strategy and sustainable development for over 5 years.
