Claire has 25+ years’ international leadership, strategy and operational experience, including 15 years as a strategic consultant, 5 years in senior operational roles and 8 years as a deeptech founder. In her relationships with her clients, Claire brings to bear her outstanding ability to navigate commercial and technical complexity. She brings an investor lens having been involved in hundreds of transaction across corporate M&A, private equity, venture capital, angel investment and family offices.
As a full-time founder herself, she has empathy for the challenges and nuances of being an entrepreneur. Across her career, Claire has breadth and depth of experience across a range of capital and technology-intensive businesses, including, for example:
- Strategic consultant to the defense, aerospace and intelligence industry;
- Led the delivery of the Global Energy Executive MBA program;
- CEO and co-founder of Neuraura, Calgary-based startup developing neuromodulation devices;
- Entrepreneur in residence for clean tech ventures through Foresight Canada for the last 8 years
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a MEng/MA (Cantab.) in Mechanical Engineering from Cambridge University. Claire was recently named one of the Top 200 Trailblazing Leaders in Women’s Health and FemTech by Women of Wearables.
