Bradford has over fifteen years practitioner’s knowledge with his core thematic competencies living in social finance, impact investing, ESG, institutional and private fundraising, corporate social & sustainability strategy with sectoral experience in government, international development, the charitable sector, health-care and social infrastructure. Holding an MBA from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom, Bradford has led teams to win & implement over $200 million in institutional & private funding and investment.
The founding of the firm, being incorporated in both Canada and England was featured in The Financial Times and profiled as a case study by Warwick Business School (United Kingdom). Importing social-finance learnings and best-practices from the UK and Europe was a key strategy early-on. In partnership with Sinzer, a Grant Thornton-owned firm in Amsterdam, The Sector Inc. was able to leverage and incorporate Sinzer’s technology-based market offering that enables governments, organizations, foundations, and impact investors to measure, report, and improve their social impact, into our own service offering in Canada. Since then, The Sector has grown into a management consulting unit, sourcing talent from the top international consulting firm’s operating in Canada, brining a lens of operational excellence into this newly developing sector of the Canadian economy.
