Indian Resource Council Inc. and Eosense are collaborating on the Alberta Methane Emissions Program (AMEP) to investigate the use of mobile methane monitoring with First Nations in Alberta. The goal of the project is to support methane management efforts and local economic development by developing a vehicle-mounted screening tool that can be used by First Nations to lead the monitoring of oil and gas facilities in their communities and beyond. Join us as they discuss the importance of engaging with First Nations, methane monitoring, and an overview of the AMEP project’s plans and work completed to date.
