This month, we’re thrilled to have Justin Zhou join us for some behind-the-scenes storytelling of Western Mechatronics, a non-profit forming a social enterprise focused on making robotics and STEM education accessible, inclusive, and engaging for youth across Alberta.

Through hands-on programs like club teams, summer camps, school residencies, and large-scale events such as Mecha Mayhem, Western Mechatronics empowers students in grades 1–12 to explore engineering, coding, and innovation. With a strong focus on mentorship, hard/soft skills, and real-world skill-building, Western Mechatronics is helping shape Alberta’s next generation of STEM leaders.
