In addition, by fostering partnerships, organizing community events, and engaging in content creation, UCAN Radio strives to build a resilient support network that celebrates Ukrainian heritage while creating new opportunities for connection for Ukrainian and allies globally.

Dmytro Gospodinov is an event manager, filmmaker, and producer with over 15 years in the creative industries. Founder of UCAN Radio, a digital platform for Ukrainian newcomers in Canada, Dmytro combines his strengths in creative and event production to connect and support the Ukrainian diaspora. His work brings together storytelling, community building, and media, making him a respected voice within Calgary’s creative scene and the Ukrainian-Canadian community.
