About Jon MacConnell
Jon MacConnell is an applied behavioural scientist and engineer, and the founder of Buoyancy Works. His main research interests are activating unemployed job seekers, wellbeing, motivations for volunteerism, and behaviour change. He earned a Master’s in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science with distinction and is a member of the Global Association of Applied Behavioural Scientists. Prior to this, Jon spent 24 years in energy, technology, and consulting, holding senior leadership roles in both private and publicly traded companies in Canada and abroad.
