The Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN), in collaboration with Innovate Calgary, COSIA and Alberta Innovates invites you to join us in person at the Energy Transition Centre in downtown Calgary for this interactive workshop where we will feature two new and exciting technologies that innovators seek to take from the lab to the field. Using breakout rooms, attendees will engage in candid discussions with the innovators to share their perspectives and provide guidance on next steps to help navigate challenges, solutions, and what can be done to accelerate innovation.
This workshop will be invaluable to those innovators, researchers, and students and young professionals who want to learn from industry experts. Together we’ll explore and learn about: Nanoparticle technologies: There is irrefutable evidence that nanoparticles and nanoemulsions have a beneficial effect on heavy oil and bitumen recovery whether enhancing waterflooding or solvent flooding. This needs to be evaluated in some detail as the additives currently considered by industry will most likely be prohibitively expensive for field application.
