Areas of expertise: Intellectual property, patents, patent assessment, patent strategy
Current role: CEO at The IP Link
After nearly a decade of experience managing and advising on intellectual property (patents, licensing, commercial agreements, and more) at the University of Alberta, Trevor founded The IP Link to help fill the gap between business and legal services by helping businesses more easily prioritize, manage, and monetize their intellectual property. Among his various entrepreneurial side projects, Trevor sells speed cubes through Rocket Cubes and sends out a weekly newsletter called The Nerdy Parent with fun strategies for intelligent parents! Trevor has a BSc in Physics, a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, and a Certificate of Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He is refreshingly not a lawyer and can help you understand and optimize your intellectual property strategy from a business perspective.
