A known ‘health systems agitator’ Peter loves working inside organizations going through existential change; especially those redefining health systems based on quality, innovation, and citizen centred care. He is a consistent proponent of patient reported health outcomes and value based care. He runs a consulting practice advising start-ups and rapidly scaling digital health technology firms on partnerships, revenue generation and international expansion.

Peter was last Board Chair of eHealth Ontario (a $280M healthcare IT agency) prior to its integration into Ontario Health. He was Board Vice-Chair of The Community for Excellence in Health Governance. He is recently voted onto the Board of Imagine Citizens Network. Peter has held various positions in private and public sectors: Deputy Minister in Cabinet Office of the Ontario government, where he sat on Treasury Board/ Management Board of Cabinet and the Deputy Ministers Committee on Technology & Transformation; VP Strategy for Green Shield Canada; Senior Provincial Director, Major Initiatives of Alberta Health Services, where he sat on the Corporate Services and Human Resources Executive Committee; National Director of Enterprise Sales and Market Development at GE Healthcare, where he chaired GE’s Marketing Council and was co-lead of a $100M services P&L.
