Evelyn Ackah is the Founder and Managing Lawyer of Ackah Business Immigration Law based in Calgary, Alberta. Her legal practice focuses exclusively on the area of Canadian and cross-border US immigration law. She has had a successful legal career in Ontario and Alberta for more than twenty years. Prior to launching her own law firm in 2008, Evelyn practiced corporate immigration law with Gowlings and Fraser Milner Casgrain where she was a Partner (now Dentons). She also spent six years at Ernst & Young’s affiliated immigration law firm – Egan LLP. After 12 years of practicing law in Toronto on Bay Street, she moved to Calgary and launched her own law firm to focus on providing innovative and flexible legal services. Ackah Business Immigration Law embodies Evelyn’s independent spirit, her passion for immigration law and her desire to provide the best possible client service. Evelyn and her team provide expertise to corporations, organizations and individuals in the development and implementation of immigration strategies and advise clients on immigration matters involving employee mobility and relocation.
