David has started with the UCeed team as its Investment Operations & Portfolio Management Lead. He holds a BComm from the University of Alberta and a JD from the University of Calgary. David was a private practicing lawyer at a national law firm in Calgary with a speciality in commercial debt finance, and he rounded out his legal career as a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary. David is looking forward to sitting on the other side of the balance sheet in the equity and investments space at UCeed.
Outside of work, David thrives in the summer as an avid golfer, beach volleyball (and other rec sports) enthusiast, and generally lying down on grass. He is not the worst at cooking, a self-taught piano player, and a volunteer yoga teacher (RYT-200).
