About Sheri Brake
Sheri Brake is the Practice Leader and Director of Cenera’s HR and Business Consulting practice. She brings a practical and pragmatic approach to both HR management and policy and training development. Sheri dives in past the hypothetical and works with clients to understand what best suits their organization. Her humour and enthusiasm come through in her engaging customized programs and training.
Drawing on over 20 years of HR experience, Sheri thrives on the challenge of working with a variety of clients and solving new problems. Clients appreciate her professional, honest, and candid responses to tough questions on both day-to-day concerns and unforeseen human resource issues. Her HR leadership and project management experience includes both private and public sector organizations in oil and gas, professional services, technology, and education.
Sheri completed a B.Comm at Dalhousie University and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations at Queen’s University as well as certificates in Project Management, Professional Coaching, Workplace Investigation, and ITIL. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) in good standing.
About Todd Panett
Todd joined Cenera in 2020 and is the Manager of HR Advisory Services. With over 20 years of progressively senior experience in HR, Todd has worked closely with Senior Executives to enable organizations to have HR at the leadership table as part of the solution, rather than reacting to situations. Todd is very effective at supporting organizations and individuals through transitions, providing them with the resources and expert guidance that they need.
Todd has a proven ability to provide critical support in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that achieve business results. He is known for his excellent skills in human capital management, negotiations, and performance management.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He also holds a Labour Relations Certificate from Queen’s University in Ontario.
