Peter is known as a health systems agitator. “I love working inside organizations going through existential change.” He is currently on a team launching a mental health clinic under the Alberta Cooperatives Act as a virtual care platform focusing on pandemic related PTSD in marginalized populations and in frontline workers. He is a shareholder and early-stage investor in a cannabis analytics company, in addition to being a member of an investment committee for a geomatics fund. Peter has held various positions in private and public sectors, most recently Deputy Minister in Cabinet Office of the Ontario government, and Board Chair of a $250M healthcare IT agency. Earlier in his career, he grew up in the health technology world, succeeding in a progressive sales and marketing leadership capacity, Through a hand full of M&As landed at GE Healthcare, where he led Canadian market development and the public-private partnerships team.
